Often times I am asked what motivates me to create and maintain this
website as well as do Florida Bullmastiff Rescue. The website in its
entirety is dedicated to my boy, Hooch. You will see a lot of him
here. He is my main inspiration for this site. This site is
also dedicated to all of the Bullmastiffs that I personally interact with
in Rescue. Particularly the ones that end
up retiring with Hooch and I. These are the most rewarding and
trying cases of all. Not because of the process of "rescuing"
them in itself, but because of the reasoning that they had to be rescued
in the first place. It is like a lingering pain that cannot be
shaken - even after their passing. Below I share my personal aspect
of what I see of the Bullmastiffs that have especially touched my life and
the rescue work I do thereof:
Each Rescued Bullmastiff brings with them a different experience,
story, and lesson learned. We all can learn from each other's
experiences - whether a Rescuer or simply a viewer. The following
stories are shared by my fellow Bullmastiff Rescuers and what their
experience with each rescue has been.
I would also like to add that the purpose
of this website is to benefit the hundreds of Bullmastiff and
Bullmastiff-Mix owners throughout the world.
Information is power. I hope that this website gives each Bullmastiff
owner the power they need in order to achieve finding and properly caring
for the Bullmastiff they possess.
